Ugh, first day back at work today after a week off and the Easter holidays as well... waded through a ton of emails and managed to push a few jobs along.. the drive to work was not overly busy so I figure there must be a few folks taking a few more days off yet.

It was quite dark when I got up this morning, this will be even more magnified next week as we slip back into non-daylight savings time this coming Sunday with clocks going back.

Once that happens it's like all of a sudden you are waking up in the dark and driving home from work in the dark. Eeep.

It was nice to not fight traffic. For me it's not the drive to work that's
bad it's the after work drive home.

Doesn't last too long though does it? I think it was only a couple of
weeks before the sun is back out on one of them for me. :)

Yeah - I know the feeling, I personally like the night, so longer nights are always nice, but I definitely get not being a fan.

Yeah - I know the feeling, I personally like the night, so longer nights are always nice, but I definitely get not being a fan.

It's really amazing how quickly things change when we flip in and out of daylight savings time here... curtain get shut early, lights on and dark outside by 6.30pm and soon even earlier.

I'm finding I am waking up early and still going to be late, so not the ideal mix at the moment.
