    Howdy,

Wondering if anybody here is an old school VM sysprog and/or plays with VM/370?

I have played with mainframe VM in the past, even co-authored some IBM redbooks on zVM, so wanting to play with that as something new.

I'm having to dig deep to remember how to do some things, but wondering if anybody else tinkers with it as well...

I didn't play around on huge computers when they were around, but I do have an account @ pub400.com to get my [emulated] IBM i 7.5 action on!

Its pretty cool to imagine using a dumb terminal to access all that 'horsepower'...

I have. It's a bit of a bummer in some ways (no XEDIT, no PIPE,
no RSCS) but it's recognizably VM.
