Hey all, for those using Cursor driven menus, is there a way to make sure when a user enters that menu the cursor is at the first choice? I have
set the X and Y co-ordinates in the settings on the menu but it always defaults to where I left off.. Any ideas??
Thanks..
AL
I do remember that once when I hit that, adding another menu item
changed the end result and it went back to the upper-left 1st selection. That isn't much help; if I poke around and remember I'll post back.
Thanks Paulie, it's driving me nuts. I have had my main menu as Cursor driven for quite a while and now am redoing all of my menus to lightbar/grid menus and this one thing is getting me. LOL Still a ways
off before I release the new menus on the board (Doors menus will be
done this week) then the rest hopefully 1 or 2 a day.

My first suggestion would be to upgrade to the latest prealpha. It's possible this was already addressed sometime in the past year and two months.
I use grid for all of my lightbar menus here, mainly just to be able to utilize all four directions, and have never seen this issue before..
then again, I don't think I saw it in A46 either, but that's too long
ago to remember.
Do you have "Redraw After" for each menu item set to yes? If not, try that. Otherwise, that's really the only thing I can think of out of the ordinary. If that doesn't work, I/we may need some more specifics or possibly some screenshots of your configuration (Menu Options, Menu Settings (/ in menu options menu), and what the output looks like would
be a good place to start).
Every time a menu is loaded it should always go to the first command in the menu, unless maybe the menu isn't exited properly? Are you possibly using GoSubs and returns? If you are, then I'd imagine you're not
actually exiting the menu and restarting it when you return, so things will be left where you originally left it. In that case, I would try
using the GO action command instead of GS. That way it actually exits
the lightbar menu, and when you use GO to go back to the lightbar menu
it will start it up fresh again.
Hope one of those helps ya!
Regards,
Didn't even realize A46 was this old.. That is on my list now to upgrade to A47..
