• 80 character line limit when viewing messages over nntp

From Khronos@CWSHACK to All on Monday, June 03, 2024 13:23:54
    Afternoon all,
It seems that when I view messages over nntp any lines that are over 80 characters in length seem to be getting cut off when viewing messages.
Is this a potential client issue or nntp issue in general?

Thanks for any input you can provide.

I'm using Slrn to read the messages.

Perhaps it was a scroll left/right command you're missing? https://www.slrn.org/docs/slrn-manual-7.html#akey_article_right

Maybe you want to enable wrapping? https://www.slrn.org/docs/slrn-manual-7.html#akey_wrap_article

I'm using Slrn to read the messages.

The lines just aren't wrapping. Press
the right arrow to see to the right.
